Branding and Logo Design

I was the graphic designer for a volunteer-lead dance community who was running a dance festival in May 2025. I had a lot of design freedom so I took inspiration from the previous years design and incorporated the same theme of birds and Brazillian flare. I illustrated everything through Photoshop and used Adobe Illustrator to create the banners.

The logo features a cockatoo wearing the beak of a toucan and also contains instruments such as the zabumba and triangle which is used in Forro music. As this is for the Sydney group, there is the Opera House and Eucalyptus’s for some extra Australian elements as the event highlights the culmination of both Brazillian and Australian culture.
